1. Purpose
ControlAxis is designed to help businesses manage customer work, estimating, field documentation, communications, tracking, financial visibility, and automation. This Policy protects customers, users, and the Services by establishing standards for lawful, secure, and respectful use.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Services for your legitimate business purposes and only in accordance with the Terms of Service, applicable law, and the rights and instructions of the people and organizations whose information you process.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not, and may not permit any user or third party to:
- use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or abusive activity;
- access or attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or networks without authorization;
- circumvent security controls, probe vulnerabilities, introduce malware, or interfere with the availability or operation of the Services;
- send unsolicited, misleading, or unlawful communications, or violate applicable consent and opt-out requirements;
- upload or distribute material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- resell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law; or
- use the Services in a way that creates a material risk to the security, privacy, or rights of others.
4. Communications and Media
You are responsible for obtaining all notices, permissions, and consents required to communicate with individuals or capture, upload, share, or publish media through the Services. You will use customer-facing portal and communications features only for accurate, authorized business information.
5. Security Responsibilities
You will use strong, unique credentials; protect account access; promptly remove access for departed personnel; and notify ControlAxis of suspected unauthorized use. You will not share credentials or allow users to access information beyond their role or authorization.
6. Enforcement
ControlAxis may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, or third parties; comply with law; or address a material violation of this Policy. ControlAxis will use reasonable efforts to provide notice when appropriate under the circumstances.
